John the Baptist’s ministry was to prepare God’s people to receive Jesus Christ and to know salvation and life in abundance.

Ben kicks off a new sermon series where we will be exploring the life of Jesus in the Gospel According to Luke. In the first sermon we look at the story of the boy Jesus in the temple.

God has given us a gift. The question is not whether the gift has been given but whether we choose to accept it.

It is awesome that the Son of God became the Son of Man, so that children of men can become children of God.

  In the battle between good and evil sometimes evil has a temporary victory. In the face of evil we are called to focus on Jesus who will have the ultimate victory.

Ben explores Revelation Chapter Four. We are shown a remarkable glimpse of heaven.

We stand firm in order that others might flourish and not live under the yoke of those that oppress them.

Christ sees the radiance of our faith in him, not our flaws. Through Jesus we are made whole.

Ruth trusts deeply in God. We too should be bold, accept the gifts God offers us, allow him to cover us with his blanket and say yes to the salvation he offers.

Ruth is diligent and humble. She steps out in faith and God blesses her.

Giving makes us joyful. It brings us freedom, light and life.

In his vision for the future Ben and examines our reliance on God and what is good for our spiritual health.

Ben explains to us that our faith should be pro-actively passed on.

The word ‘catholic’ means ‘universal. We are part of the Universal Church. This does not stop at the parish boundary - we are part of a wider church.

Ben begins a new sermon series where we will be exploring what Holy, Catholic and Apostolic mean. To be holy means to be set apart for Jesus. As a church our function is to worship, proclaim and love Jesus. This is what separates us from everything else.
