We are so excited that you have decided to join us at St Mary's. We can't wait to get to know you.
We know that arriving at a new place can be an intimidating. That's why we'd like to put your mind at ease by helping you to plan your first time here. When you arrive at church please introduce yourself to a member of the welcome team or staff who would love to chat and introduce you to some more people.
Sunday Service Times
The first of our main services. This is a traditional service with a choir, hymn books and psalms. The second Sunday of each month uses the 1662 Book of Common Prayer.
The second of our main services is more informal with a band leading contemporary worship. The first Sunday of the month is an All Age service and kids' groups run during each of the other services.
Most Sundays we have a traditional evensong service at 6:30PM which uses the Book of Common Prayer.
The 4th Sunday of each month at 6:30PM is an informal café service with acoustic worship and discussion.

Why do you have two morning services?
Having two services which are different in style enables people to express their worship in a way which resonates with them. Although the styles are different the content is generally similar across the services.
How long are the main services?
The main morning services are a little over an hour, though the All Age services are slightly shorter.
What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in. God doesn't judge people on their clothes and neither do we.
Will there be things for my children to do?
Do I have to pay or make a donation?
No, you don't. During the service an offering will be taken but there is no expectation that visitors will make a donation. Though if you would like to make a donation it would, of course, be very welcome.
Is there parking?
There's limited parking at the church, but plenty in the surrounding streets.
Are there toilets and changing facilities?
The church has two toilets including one which is wheelchair accessible and has a baby changing table.
Is there disabled access?
There is step-free access to the site via Church Street.
