Our choir will sing the St Luke Passion (attributed to JS Bach) as a large element (about 50 minutes) of the evening service on Palm Sunday evening. This is a typical Baroque oratorio. They will sing it in English with words pretty much straight out of St Luke’s gospel, making it quite an intense spiritual experience. They will be accompanied by harpsichord and string quartet.
